Graphic breakdown of crime genre film opening - Drive

Drive is a 2011 American crime thriller film directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, starring Ryan Gosling, Carey Mulligan, Bryan Cranston,Oscar Isaac and Albert Brooks. the movie is about an unnamed Hollywood stunt performer(played by Ryan Gosling) who moonlights as a getaway driver.  The film was nominated for Best Film and Best Director at the 2012 British Academy Film Awards. Its opening chase scene involving Gosling's character was primarily filmed by Winding Refn within the car's interior. When filming Refn was very select about the areas they drove in downtown Los Angeles to preserve the gloomy atmosphere. Additionally, the scene was shot at low-angles with minimal light.

"Thinking back, there isn't really all that much driving in Drive – a couple of chase scenes here and there, staged efficiently, thrillingly. It's more about the questionable choices that drive people – and, ultimately, the ones that drive them away."
Associated Press reporter Christy Lemire

Drive 's title sequence text is hot-pink, which was inspired by 1983's Risky Business ' editing table.
Most of drive's electronic-pop score was composed by Cliff Martinez. A version of Drive re-scored was created by Zane Lowe for BBC3 which was broadcast in October 2014.

Above is a graphic breakdown of the opening sequence of Drive, it includes the timings of the soundtrack and details of the song 'Night Call' by Kavinsky, a break down of the titles which are shown on screen during the sequence and a rough outline as to what is happening visually throughout the opening.
